390 - Polished Concrete

Committee Mission: Create and maintain a comprehensive specification for polished concrete flatwork to ensure consistent quality, durability, and performance.

Goals: Develop and Publish Specifications. Develop and maintain a contemporary specification for polished concrete flatwork, building upon the work of ACI Committee 310 and incorporating validated industry standards and proven field practices. Integrate Industry Expertise Evaluate and incorporate credible technical guidance, standards, and best practices from across the concrete industry to produce a balanced and defensible specification suitable for use by owners, designers, contractors, and consultants. Support Industry Education Develop and disseminate technical guidance and educational resources to support proper specification, construction, polishing, and maintenance of polished concrete systems. Advance Polished Concrete Technology Promote the advancement and dissemination of knowledge and best practices to improve the quality, durability, and consistency of polished concrete flatwork.
